The 2011 Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous will take place from March 16–20, 2011 in the beautiful setting of Virgin Gorda, in the British Virgin Islands, Caribbean. The family friendly event is open to both motor and sailing yachts and will bring together like minded yacht owners and charterers for four days of fun activities, racing and social events.

There is already an impressive fleet of yachts that have registered their interest for attending the Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous 2011 including the latest Dubois Naval Architect designs, the new 192ft sailing yacht Kokomo, 163ft superyacht Zefira and the newly launched 189ft S/Y Twizzle from  Royal Huisman, as well as the 135ft J-Class Ranger and her mothership, Trinity’s 150ft motor yacht Vita, two 130ft Westport Yachts Constellation and Resolute, and Burger’s classic 108ft motor yacht Chanticleer.

The Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous 2011 involves 3 days of superyacht racing organized by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.  The sailing yacht fleet will be split into racing, cruising and non-spinnaker classes under the IRC rating system.

Motor yachts attending the Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous are encouraged to follow the racing and enjoy the spectacle of the sailing fleet, and are also welcome to participate in a tender Treasure Hunt around North Sound and a Cruise-in-Company as well as water sports and a Beach Day at Oil Nut Bay.  One highlight of the Superyacht event will be the Saturday night ‘Full Moon Party’ at Oil Nut Bay.
