In addition to her successful premiere at this year’s Cannes Boat Show, the latest Canados 120 motor yacht Far Away was presented with two awards at the 2012 World Yachts Trophies. Far Away superyacht was awarded for the “Best Design” as well as “Innovation” in the category of flybridge yachts over 24 metres.

The award ceremony took place in Cannes on September 15th, during a glamorous gala dinner at the Carlton Hotel at a luxurious setting on la Croisette. The event gathered yacht owners, leading figures of the yachting industry and event sponsors.
“I’d like to thank all people working at this yacht in Canados, Francesco Paszkowski Design for the interior design and the owners who trusted us – commented Agostino Ascani, President of Canados during the award ceremony.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart – said Giovanni Senatore from Canados Technical Department while receiving the prize for Innovation together with Ascani.
The prestigious World Yachts Trophies are organized by the Yachts Magazine Group, a global leader in the yachting media. The jury selects the best yachts launched during the previous 12 months. Forty-eight finalists were chosen this year, three for each prize.
