Sweden-based Gray Design, an award winning international design studio with a focus on innovative and highly characteristic industrial design, has released a great video below, introducing their latest 64m mega yacht KRAKEN concept. Inspired by the Vapour GT concept to create a matching set of extreme vehicles for land and sea, the breath-taking superyacht KRAKEN is a lighthearted design study exploring the limits of yacht design.

Designed to reach a thrilling speed of 35 knots and boasting an impressive 18-metre beam, luxury yacht KRAKEN concept is laid out as a catamaran and spans over four amazing decks, including accommodation in each hull. The wildly raked windscreen is in fact a skylight for a large lounge on the owner’s deck and the pilot house is raised to provide fantastic visibility around the entire vessel.

The metallic paintwork of KRAKEN yacht concept is accentuated by intense red highlights, chrome bright work and dark stained teak decking. There is a vast beach club and reception area at the aft of the yacht and a great amount of space for a helipad at the bow.
