Blohm+Voss is currently building the impressive 80-metre mega yacht BV80 and has released photos of the first hull section. Following twelve months of meticulous engineering, the keel was laid in December 2015 and since then important developments have taken place. The first three hull sections are almost finished with the main components ordered and the striking BV80 designed by Eidsgaard is beginning to show her shape.

The design, which was presented at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2014 has been attracting plenty of attention thanks to its timeless lines, combined with the extraordinary quality that Blohm+Voss is well-known for. Important steps were also taken by the company, ensuring a highly competitive price and fast delivery of the vessel. The completion of the hull section has lessened the delivery date to just 30 months from the date of the contract. This means her scheduled delivery date is for 2018 with a fully custom made interior.
