The Island of Mayreau in the Caribbean is the smallest inhabited island in the St Vincent and Grenadines chain. The idyllic island of Mayreau is a great place to visit while on a luxury yacht, providing a step back in time with picture perfect natural landscapes. The island of Mayreau in the Grenadines is located between Canouan and Carriacou and has an area of around 1.5 square miles and a population of 300. While on charter, Saltwhistle Bay in Mayreau is not to be missed.  It is one of the most picture-perfect beaches in all of the Grenadines with pure glistening white sand, bounded by clear azure waters and green palm trees swaying in the warm breeze. There are only a few sites left on earth that can offer such magnificent ambience. Saltwhistle Bay incorporates the entire northern tip of Mayreau thus offering you the choice of  two beaches - the leeward and the windward - the latter being considered world class by windsurfers and kite boarders.

The Saltwhistle Bay Club in Saltwhistle Bay is a resort known to visiting yachties and charterers that are welcome to lounge and swim at the beach or sip cocktails at the Saltwhistle bar. The people of the island are very welcoming and friendly.
