NEW STAR

Hello Amanda: We really had a great time on New Star, everything was perfect, the crew's hospitality was amazing.

Hi Josh, Happy New Year! It was fabulous! The crew made our trip better than we could imagine. Alec was very professional (as was all the crew) and most accommodating. They all had a very fun spirit about them. The boat was lovely, perfect in size and decor. Although this was our first charter, we are guessing that the NEW STAR was probably a lighter weight vessel than most as the anchors did not seem to stabilize the swaying back and forth while in very calm waters. For the sake of curiosity, could this be correct? Again, we are rookies at this and that might have been perfectly normal. Truly, it just added more fun to our adventure. Trina; This ended up being the “trip of a lifetime”. We were very happy with New Star – the condition of the boat was very good. The entire crew was great – Captain Franck was outstanding. If I bought a yacht, I would want Captain Franck to pilot the ship. My only disappointment was the fact that we couldn’t get a birth in St Tropez. I’m not sure what we could have done to guarantee that opportunity? A quick note on Karl, the cook – he was unbelievable! Hard to imagine that a young man of 22 could present such outstanding meals! The owners need to hang on to him! Thanks for all your help over the last 12 months. The family agreed that next time we would like to do a little longer trip in a little larger yacht! I’ll send you a note when we are ready!
