Built by the leading Italian shipyard Azimut Yachts, in collaboration with MarineMax, Azimut’s North American distribution partner, luxury motor yacht Azimut 84 US Version has been designed expressly for the American market, and introduced at the 2014 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show in February. The main changes aboard the US version of superyacht Azimut 84 include the flybridge, the saloon, the open kitchen, the owner’s cabin, as well as the VIP cabin.
As stated by Giovanni Bogetto, PR & Press Manager of the Azimut-Benetti Group: “Firstly, it is important to remind that Azimut products are the result, the perfect combination of Italian design and technology. Actually, we believe to be trend setter from the design point of view and our customers choose us because of the beauty of our boats. “In USA, for example, Azimut can offer americanization of different models, the biggest is the motor yacht Azimut 84. These models are built on the same platform of the standard ones but diversified to meet specific needs, typical of the local culture. So, in USA these special versions have bigger flybridge, potentiated infotainment, open galley, big laundry, tropical air conditioning, ecc. Similarly in Asia, where some models have been strongly personalized. The Dragon China versions include feature that meet typical requirements of Asian customer, such as bigger play areas, larger entertainment area, hidden galley and less cabins.”
“What it is important to say is that this incredible capability to be design trender as well as to personalize in accordance with the local culture is the results of the R&D work of the company, as well as the high level of industrialization of the production and last but not least, the capacity of listening the clients. Azimut can count on a software system (named Sestante) that allow the dealers all over the world to transmit immediately suggestions or improvement proposals on the models their clients bought. This is a fundamental tool to get feedback from the end user of our products. The strategic marketing dept. analyze each comments coming from the customers and make specific evaluation of them. Not rarely these improvements are brought in production on the new models.”
