February until April 2012 – Caribbean

Caribbean is the second most popular charter location in the world, following the Mediterranean. A traditional hot spot for yacht charters, the Caribbean is considered “the king of yacht charter vacations”. It is an ocean filled with beautiful treasures, from tiny beaches ridden with coral atolls to significant mountainous islands with rich and colourful cultures. Popular places to visit on a yacht charter include AntiguaSt Barts, Anguilla, St Martin, The British Virgin Islands, The US Virgin Islands, the Grenadines and many more.

The main Caribbean sailing season runs from November through to July. The Caribbean primary high season is from mid-December to March, when the winter escapees from North America and Europe arrive in their greatest numbers.

The Caribbean is made up of many different multi-nation (and multi-cultural) volcanic islands. There are amazing sailing grounds stretching from Cuba and Jamaica in the west, through the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, The Leeward Islands and the Windward Islands, finishing with Trinidad and Tobago off the coast of Venezuela. May and June 2012: San Blas, Panama, Sea of Cortez:

Panama and San Blas offer and incredible amount of colourful culture, stunning tropical beaches, hidden waterfalls in lush jungles, beautiful offshore islands and the remarkable marvel of the Panama Canal. The country offers great biodiversity thanks to her location as a narrow land strip between two continents and the size of its wilderness areas and protected rain forests.

San Blas archipelago is one of the major attractions in Panama with yacht charter guests.  San Blas can be found only a few miles from the dense jungles of the mainland and is famous for the markets where Kuna Indians offer beadwork, carvings, colourful textiles with mola design as well as shells.
