MDL’s Ocean Village Marina was delighted to host three J Class yachts during the J Class Solent Regatta, including luxury yacht Velsheda, superyacht Lionheart as well as charter yacht Ranger. The marina also played host to Athos superyacht and sailing yacht Adela, participating in the Superyacht Cup.

The legendary Kings Hundred Guinea Cup went to the Claasen Jachtbouw built and Andre Hoek designed superyacht Lionheart, participating in this year’s J Class Regatta in the Solent. Saturday 21 July saw the 2012 J Class Solent Regatta – Hundered Guinea Cup, attended by the spectacular J Class yachts. The overall winner has become sailing yacht Lionheart, followed by superyacht Velsheda, charter yacht Ranger and Rainbow superyacht, respectively.

Day 2 of the J Class Solent Regatta saw a very close racing of the J Class yachts. In the end, the overall winner has become superyacht Velsheda, winning by just 5 seconds, followed by Lionheart, Rainbow and Ranger, respectively.

Pendennis Cup Superyacht Regatta to be sponsored by Lewmar
