Following the launch of the 103m SEA HAWK in September 2015, Hawk Yachts has now added two exciting new luxury explorer superyachts to its range: the 56m CAPE HAWK and the 75m SKY HAWK, the latter designed by Marco Casali. Based on the philosophy of beauty and function, the two all-new projects will be officially presented at this month’s boot Dusseldorf.

The unique explorers by Hawk Yachts are vessels that go further and do more for the new breed of owners not content with the status quo. Yachting experience is key in the company’s designs. Captain Matthias Bosse, boasting unprecedented experience in fronting all conditions and climates, commented: “It’s not rocket science, much of it is common sense. It’s obvious that many designs are created by people that have no practical sea faring experience; and it this practical experience that leads to highly functional sea-worthy vessels like those that Hawk Yachts are launching here.”

“It would appear to me that the byword for exploration has become polar. Of course polar should be on the wish list, it’s a very beautiful part of the ocean landscape, but I wonder if the average owner will visit the polar regions regularly; probably not more than a few times I would suggest. We like to consider our yachts as voyagers, capable in all climates and conditions.”

“Another question we ask is why explorers/voyages have to be so industrial in looks, there is no need, a sea-worthy vessel can and should still be glamorous in the prestige ports of the world. We believe the range of Hawk Yachts all deliver port beauty where many others in this field do not.”

Both explorers are designed to offer deluxe and comfortable accommodation to 12 guests. In addition, they provide all the luxury amenities of a superyacht, including indoor/outdoor dining, beach club, spa, large sun areas, large garage for a great variety of water toys, and even guest expedition preparation rooms and a science lab.

Meet Hawk Yachts and learn more about these breath-taking explorers at this month’s boot Dusseldorf, running from January 23 to 31, 2016. The company will be on hand in Hall 07a / E12.
