Organisers by Boat International Media, the World Superyacht Awards 2016 have taken place this past weekend in the breathtaking and enchanting Italian city of Florence, celebrating the outstanding and innovative superyachts from around the world. Three fantastic superyachts have stolen the limelight at the awards, each winning two trophies: UNFURLED, SAVANNAH, and GENESI.

The 11th edition of the Boat International Media prestigious award featured a panel of 23 experienced judges represented by serial superyacht owners, many of whom have designed and constructed their own vessels. The 2016 finalists were praised for pushing the boundaries in the realms of power, speed, technology, usability, design, and comfort.

Almost 70 superyachts entered this year’s awards, represented by 47 prestigious shipyards and yacht constructors from 15 different countries, including Feadship, Benetti, Amels, Oceanco, Princess, and Vitters.
