Scheduled for completion in December 2015, the Deep Harbour at Island Gardens will be North America’s only marina exclusively designed for superyachts. Moreover, it is also expected to become one of the most exclusive deep water marinas in the world as it will benefit from the deep waters of the cruise ship terminal, which are deep enough for large cruise ships and not subject to tidal restrictions for access.

The Deep Harbour at Islands Garden is expected to achieve high occupancy rates shortly after opening as most marinas in Florida do not offer deep enough waters for sailing mega yachts and the very large superyachts over 150ft in length. Furthermore, demand for boat slips to berth luxury yachts over 80 feet long far exceeds the supply in South Florida.

Once completed, The Deep Harbour at Island Gardens will boast 5,000 linear feet of capacity, accommodating an average of 50 yachts stretching up to 550 feet and drafts of 18-25 feet deep. It will offer marina lounge and restaurant, as well as full service amenities, including in-slip fueling and customs and immigration clearance to guests and residents arriving via yacht from international destinations. Moreover, it will be the future home of Superyacht Miami, a new show by Show Management designed exclusively to cater to superyachts.

The development will also feature two world class retail and restaurants, hotels, high end shopping boutiques, as well as a water taxi service. The upland construction, including hotels, retail and restaurants, is scheduled for completion in late 2017-2018 season.
