The new one-year superyacht charter license is available for yachts of 30m and above that can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests, and have a full hull as well as third-party liability insurance. To be issued by the Ministry of Transport, the new license must be applied for through an appointed agent in Thailand.

Thanks to this decree, Thailand is now expected to attract more luxury charter yachts to its breath-taking shores, resulting in the boost of the tourism industry in the country.
