On a dimly lit morning outside the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard, 68m/223ft superyacht SOARING was officially launched on the 18th of January 2020 and the event was captured on camera courtesy of DrDuu.
The grand exterior profile and naval architecture were designed by the shipyard in-house team and the warm underwater lighting and aft social area lighting stood out all the more early on a winter morning. The raked bow and curving stern from main deck down to the swim platform give M/Y SOARING an eye-catching sense of proportion and balance. In addition to a range of external dining areas and lounges, there is a sundeck Jacuzzi and the beach club, when at anchor, has fold-down terraces for greater connection to the environment.
The interiors by Focus Yacht Design make use of matte and gloss textures to frame the glamorous and contemporary monochrome living areas.
The accommodation sleeps up to 12 guests over six en-suite cabins, which include a Master suite and apartment on the Owner’s private deck, while the rest of the guest accommodation is situated on the main deck. Also on board is a crew of 17 for world-wide adventures and impeccable service while hosting gatherings on board.
M/Y SOARING is an Approved RYA Water Sports Centre and has a wealth of on board features, including a gym and spa massage room off the beach club, an Owners’ deck on the upper deck that has an office and forward library/observation room, plus the aforementioned sundeck Jacuzzi. Once she has undergone sea trials and is delivered to her Owner, she will be available for charter this summer in the West Mediterranean.
