Superyacht Turquoise Launched in Turkey

Motor yacht Turquoise was launched on the 31st of January in Turkey. Superyacht Turquoise is 55.4 m (182ft) in length and has been built by the Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise over the last couple of years. M/Y Turquoise has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure. Her beam is 9.30 metres (30.51ft) and she has a 3.45 metre (11,32ft) draft.

The exterior design of motor yacht Turquoise (Hull NB52) was designed by Dubois Yachts, for a repeat client and yacht owner. The yacht’s interior designer is by Hoek Design Naval Architects.

With twin 1500 hp diesel engines yacht Turquoise is expected to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots. The launching of yacht Turquoise continues a positive growth by the Turkish shipyard into 2011. Further photos of the boat are pending.
