Horizon was present at the 2014 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, running in Queensland’s Sanctuary Cove Village from May 22 to 25. During the four day event, the company showcased the P110 superyacht, motor yacht E56, luxury yacht V72, as well as PC60 power catamaran models.
“Everyone that toured the Horizon models were complimenting the product,” said HMYA President Russell Wright. “Horizon’s renowned quality and craftsmanship was the talk of the show.”
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for the four-day show, which is normally known for its cold and rainy weather – the sun was out and shining, bringing with it crowds from all over Australia and New Zealand. The E56, V72, and PC60 were actually sold just prior to the show, and the owners gracious enough to allow Horizon to showcase them during the event. The P110, being the only yacht available for sale, drew people from far and wide to take a vessel tour. The Horizon E88 (example is motor yacht Mechtilda) also on display was a crowd favorite with a giant slippery slide attached to the deck – it attracted media and crowds alike all wanting to get a photo of the fun accessory.
Throughout the show Horizon saw increased interest in the PC Series, in which the brand new PC52 was the hot topic; HMYA believes the model is set to be a hot seller for the Australian market, with the first one arriving in Australia just in time for the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
