The 41.4m/135ft luxury catamaran ROYAL FALCON ONE as been launched in Sweden. She was built by Kockums AB as part of the Royal Falcon Fleet 135 catamarans with an extraordinary exterior profile which resembles a spaceship.
The design of the yacht comes from the Singapore-based company Royal Falcon Fleet in collaboration with Porsche Design Studio and Incat Crowther Naval Architects. ROYAL FALCON ONE represents innovative design with the latest technology and great seakeeping capabilities. The yacht boasts typical Porsche design: luxurious, functional and without a trace of any ornate opulence.
It is believed that catamaran ROYAL FALCON ONE was under construction for almost 10 years, as in mid-2010 the yacht had the structural aluminium fabrication completed and engineering, piping, fairing and fit-out work still had to be done.
The spacious living areas are spread across four decks. The main deck hosts a massive lounge area with panoramic views and a dining area with access to the aft deck. A pilothouse, captain’s cabin, master cabin with a private lounge are placed on the mid-deck. Sunbathing and relaxation area is on the sundeck, which includes Jacuzzi, bar and sunbeds.
Accommodation onboard is offered for up to 10 guests in one master suite and four guest cabins located on the lower and mid decks. The crew quarters are located in the two hulls to host 10 crew members.
The power comes from two 4,000hp MTU 16V 4000 M93L diesel engines and win Rolls-Royce KaMeWa waterjets which provide a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots with a range of 2,000 nm.
