Taking place from May 21-24, 2015, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show offers exhibitors unparalleled exposure and sales opportunities. The 2014 event saw more than $45 million in sales achieved, while outstanding additional post-event sales figures were recorded, making it a very successful show.

Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show General Manager Johan Hasser said interest in next year’s event is substantial, with more than one hundred applications from boating and marine lifestyle brands registering since opportunities opened in early November.

“Exhibitor interest is always very strong for the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, but with the significant upgrades and investments made to the site’s layout, the Sanctuary Cove Marina and the boardwalk area this year, we have received a lot of early registrations,” Mr Hasser said.

“Another key drawcard to the Show is that it generates more than $3million worth of PR and marketing exposure, which means exhibitors and sponsors have the opportunity to get their brands out to a wider audience.”

Alongside brands like Garmin, Navico, SeaBreeze Industries, SevenStar and AMI Marine, established boating distributor Sports Marine was one of the first companies to secure its position at the event, choosing the 2015 Show as the official launch for their latest yacht, the Carver C37 Coupe.

Sports Marine Dealer Max Sutherland said the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show offers the perfect mix of business and pleasure for exhibitors and visitors alike.

“The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is a destination for all serious boat buyers in the South Pacific,” Mr Sutherland said.

“It offers a relaxed atmosphere and it is usually wonderful weather, so it is a fantastic location at a great time of the year to show off our new products. This year we will be showcasing the Meridian 441 Fly Bridge Cruiser and Carver Motor Yacht C37 Coupe, of which are both 2015 models.”

Known as the event where the marine industry does business, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is one of the largest boat and marine lifestyle events in the Asia Pacific region, attracting more than 40,000 visitors to a spectacular showcase of more than 500 boats and marine products across four days.

Sanctuary Cove Marine Village long-term tenants Leigh-Smith Cruiser Sales, Horizon Motor Yachts Australia, Integrity Motor Yachts and Catalina Yachts have also registered to showcase at and support the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, with Horizon Motor Yachts set to launch two brand new products to the market next year.

Horizon Motor Yacht’s Office and Marketing Manager Erica Rae said this year has already been a huge year for the company, with a recent change in ownership and exciting plans underway for the new year.

“It’s been a fantastic year so far and we are looking forward to debuting two brand new models to the Australian market at next year’s Show; the Horizon PC52 Catamaran and the new Horizon V72.

“The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is a highlight for us as both tenants and exhibitors. The Marine Village is buzzing in the lead up and during the event and there is a really great social atmosphere. As exhibitors we are looking forward to continuing to bring the brand into the spotlight across Australia and meeting like-minded people.”

Multihull Solutions, traditionally one of the Show’s largest exhibitors, will again have a strong presence at the 2015 Show, with Sales and Marketing Consultant Rachel Haynes stating it is an important sales event for the company.

“The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show has always been a very strong marine event for us,” Ms Haynes said.

“The majority of our leads come from Sanctuary Cove, so we always commit very heavily to the Show. Not only is it a very strong sales event, but it also has a great atmosphere. The roving musicians and the social aspects bring the whole event together and make it a real community event – everyone always enjoys Sanctuary Cove.”

Multihull Solutions has chosen the 2015 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show to launch several new products.

“We are launching the Saba 50 Catamaran and the Cumberland 47 Long Range Power Catamaran,” Ms Haynes said.

“This will be the first time they will be seen in the Asia Pacific, so we are really looking forward to getting them out there. We will also have the Tag 60 Catamaran, which hasn’t been seen in Australia, so it is going to be an exciting year.”

Navico Asia Pacific Marketing Coordinator Liam McIlveen, a global leader in marine electronics, said Navico chooses to exhibit at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show for one simple reason: it delivers them their target market.

“The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show gives us strong sales and sales leads,” Mr McIlveen said. “It is a large show which delivers to us our target patronage: the affluent larger pleasure craft market.”
