As part of its long term investment in one-piece superyacht mast-building, Rondal is extending its composite workshop to a length of 78 meters.

The extension will be equipped with the same optimized heating equipment that has been proven over more than 16 years of “out of autoclave” production using the Gurit SE84LV pre-preg system.

The first tall project to be built in the enlarged facility is already under construction, the 73m main mast for Perini Navi mega yacht Sybaris (Project C.2227), a 70m ketch for which Rondal is supplying the complete rig package.

The workshop extension is split into sections to achieve the optimum production environment for each project, depending on
the total length of the mast.

In fact, the new facility can easily be extended to accommodate a maximum length of 100 meters (at this time), simply by
connecting additional sections to the workshop.

So, now, the sky’s the limit for Rondal composite one-piece mast production.
