Hauled out during the Pendennis Cup in July to start her three month refit, the 38-metre sailing yacht Gloria was originally launched by the prestigious Dutch builder Jongert in 1985. Gloria superyacht was one of the first vessels to complete minor works at Pendennis Palma, so the Pendennis Shipyard was quite happy to welcome the vessel at their Falmouth facility.

Work included complete re-decking and deck hardware stripped and serviced with some replacements made, leaving luxury yacht Gloria’s topside as good as new. Her schooner rig was also completely overhauled, with new standing rigging and fore rig installed alongside a repaint of the main mast.

Jongert superyacht Gloria was re-launched early October and will shortly be making her way to the Mediterranean for the winter season.
