When speaking to Yachting Pages, Navantia S.A. commented, “This new service provides exclusive information and services to our clients during their stay at Navantia S.A., Cartagena.

“The service was put in place to complement our bilingual yacht crew assistance service and allows crew staying within our region to access extra information on where to go, places to practice sports, rent a car, find taxi services, hotels, etc…”

Yacht Club offers additional exclusive advantages, such as discounts at certain restaurants and forms part of an initiative to improve the attention provided to crews at Navantia, providing a personalised service.

Founded in 1730, Navantia S.A. specialises in boat repair services for yachts and superyachts of all sizes in Cartagena, Spain. The shipyard boasts a large dry dock of 214m and a large workspace with capacity for 10 yachts simultaneously.

Navantia also revealed that in the first quarter of 2014 its turnover showed over a 25% increase compared to the total turnover in 2013.  The company puts this down to its marketing activity, improvements to crew services and competitive pricing.

Out of the 16 contracts signed throughout 2014, 12 were yachts that had already visited Cartagena in the past.
