The graceful mega yachts of summer are migration south to the Caribbean for the charter season and along the way, superyacht Carpe Diem II has stopped by North Cove.  She was built by Trinity Yachts in 2002 and measures 45m (149′ 7″) in length.  She will only be in the Big Apple for a day or two, but long enough to make a beautiful presence in slip S1 of Dennis Conner’s North Cove.

M/Y CARPE DIEM II (ex Carpe Diem) was built by Trinity Yachts in 2002 and was completely refitted this in 2006 in mahogany and pale furnishings. The luxury yacht’s interior was designed by Carol Williamson & Associates.

Motor yacht CARPE DIEM II has al fresco dining and Plasma TVs on all outside areas, and an 8-person Spa Pool with sun pads, so there are plenty of entertainment areas for guests to use for small and intimate or large gatherings. There is also plenty of space throughout.

CARPE DIEM II is able to accommodate up to 10 guests in five spacious guest staterooms, including a beautifully appointed full width on-deck master suite.

The yacht also boasts plenty of toys for guests to enjoy including a 15ft and a 20 ft Novurania  tender and two 3-man waverunners, waterskis, wakeboard, floating trampoline, 2 paddle boards, snorkel gear, fishing equipment. It is also possible to rent a 58ft Donzi sportfish motor yacht as well which is not included in the charter rate.

CARPE DIEM II has a cruise speed of 17 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots which is relatively quick for a luxury motor yacht of this size.
