Mega yacht project LIGHTNING hits water at Lurssen

Today, the 5th of July saw the spectacular 130+ metre mega yacht project Lightning hit the water in Bremen in Germany. Built by the renowned German shipyard Lurssen, Lightining represents another impressive mega yacht project following the 2013-launched Azzam, the largest motor yacht ever built by the yard, or the brand-new Flying Fox of 136m. There are very few details officially known at the moment as she has been wrapped in a shroud of secrecy right from the beginning.

From the photos in various media, we can see striking timeless exterior lines, with expansive deck areas as well as a helicopter pad at the bow and also one situated aft. The yacht is also expected to have various luxury amenities, which should include Jacuzzi, pool, numerous dining areas both in and out and a number of saloons to entertain and be entertained as well as ultra-luxurious accommodation with ensuite bathrooms and much much more.
