The renowned Dutch shipyard Heesen has just released detailed photos and information about one of its current projects under construction, the striking 50m motor yacht Project ALTEA (YN 19550) with delivery scheduled for spring 2021. ALTEA boasts elegant and timeless exterior profile by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects, boasting huge glazed areas and reversed stern with spray rails, creating a unique and recognisable look.

Cristiano Gatto is behind the balanced and inviting interiors offering plenty of areas to relax and socialise. Accommodation on board spreads over 6 beautifully appointed staterooms for up to 12 guests who will thoroughly enjoy the elegant interior areas of almost 350 square metres. Additional accommodation includes five crew cabins for up to nine members.

Project ALTEA is the second yacht built on the design and engineering platform of Nova Plus and is an aluminium vessel below 500GT. She is fitted with two MTU 12V 2000 M72 Diesel engines of 1,080 kW each and will be able to reach a top speed of 19.5 knots with a range of 3,750 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots. Once delivered, she will represent one of the fastest and most economical motor yachts in her range.
