Berth holders wishing to explore the cruising opportunities on offer simply need to call a dedicated number to make their booking in advance, and will also receive a full itinerary for their trip. Alternative berthing options will also be offered, as well as full marina and local area information.

The news comes just months after MDL announced an exclusive partnership with French marina operator, Sagemor. The two schemes will now allow MDL berth holders the opportunity to visit more than 80 marinas in the UK, France, Spain and Italy, creating the largest cruising network offered by any European marina operator and reaffirming MDL’s clear market leader position.

Dean Smith, Marketing Director at MDL Marinas, commented: “This latest partnership is fantastic news for our customers, allowing them to easily plan a trip to explore one of Europe’s most beautiful stretches of coastline. Berth holders using this new scheme are guaranteed the high levels of customer service they would expect in their home MDL marina, with dedicated English-speaking staff on hand to assist with every aspect of the marina booking.”

MDL berth holders wishing to use the service simply need to call (+34) 955 00 72 58 or email andalucia.MDL@eppa.es to make their arrangements.

The marinas accessible through the scheme include Mazagón, Ayamonte, Punta Umbria and Isla Cristina on the Huelva coast, Puerto America, Rota, Chipiona and Barbate near Cadiz and Adra and Garrucha in the province of Almería. The Andalusian coast has a wealth of attractions for boat owners, with beautiful beaches on Cadiz’s Costa de la Luz, from palm-fringed sweeps of golden sand to hidden rocky coves. Further inland, visitors can explore the region’s capital, Seville, and the Alhambra, the breath-taking Moorish palace in Granada.
