Two months after the MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33 motor yacht made her public debut in Miami, the first hull in the series has been sold to an American Owner.

The Mangusta GranSport series from Alberto Mancini has been engineered by Overmarine Group to achieve a long-range cruising speed in addition to excellent high-speed performance, with the MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33 becoming the new entry-level model for the line.

Guests stepping on board from the swim platform will come across the main deck aft cockpit as the first guest area, where there is plenty of seating and a raised table for alfresco dining.

Above, the flybridge is furnished with sun loungers along the stern, a wet bar placed in the sunshine amidships and beneath the hardtop, there is a forward lounge with a table for sheltered alfresco meals. The foredeck provides the main sunbathing area, with a sofa and table for panoramic views, and a broad sunbathing area with a Jacuzzi for languid afternoons following a spectacular Cote d’Azur party.

Inside, the main deck boasts a spacious salon to the aft with a forward galley providing fast and efficient service to the dining area, and numerous floor-to-ceiling windows allow for a bright, naturally lit lounge that becomes even more atmospheric at sunset. Two of the windows open for a more alfresco feel to the environment, perfect for summer meals in such destinations as the Mediterranean or Caribbean.

As well as a Master stateroom on the main deck forward, there are four further guest en-suite cabins to be found on the lower deck and Mangusta has several custom layouts available. The Owner of the first MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33 hull is currently working with Overmarine Group’s Interiors Department to personalise the layout, furniture, furnishings and decor.

Other notable features include a shallow draft of only 1.9m/6.2ft, allowing travel through shallow waterways and foregoing some journeys that might otherwise have required the tender.

The innovative propulsion system creates a top speed of 26 knots while limiting vibrations and noise on board for unparalleled comfort, and the ‘joystick docking’ system allows for excellent manoeuvrability during docking operations, with a Dynamic Positioning System (DPS) and fin stabilisers system for control, safety and comfort.

Once construction is finished, the MANGUSTA GRANSPORT 33 will be ready for delivery in 2020.
