Commissioned for a Croatian Owner who has extensive previous experience with monohull sailing yachts, the Sunreef 80 model was the answer to greater space on board for a smaller LOA while at the same time retaining the power and performance associated with wind power. Designed inside and out by Sunreef Yachts with a length of 24.4m/80ft and a beam of 11.5m/37.7ft, S/Y 7X SPLIT has an abundance of space at 340m²/3,659ft² for extended periods living aboard.

Luxury catamaran 7X SPLIT features a versatile interior layout capable of becoming a conference room, yoga studio or dance floor as the occasion requires, adding another attractive quality to her bright and contemporary design. Her everyday layout places a C-shaped sofa and elevated table port and aft, while opposite the chaise-sofa creates a comfortable environment for the whole family to spend quality time together. The galley is placed forward and in the top starboard corner is the helm station.

While there are four generous en-suite cabins on board to accommodate up to eight guests, the Master suite in the starboard aft hull is the most impressive, offering an office and lounge within the open-plan bedroom. Forward, a double cabin is used as a children’s bedroom, while in the opposite hull there are two double cabins and a crew cabin placed in the stern.

The alfresco guest areas offer up numerous sunbathing and alfresco dining and living options, beginning with the main deck cockpit immediately aft of the salon. Glass sliding doors pull back to easily combine both spaces, with the sheltered outdoor area fitted with an inviting stern sofa and an elevated table. A raised sunbed to the starboard allows for a comfortable rest after a meal, with a wet bar opposite to serve refreshments.

A stairway to port leads up to the flybridge, where guests have a broad row of sun pads along the stern and a C-shaped sofa and alfresco dining table under the hardtop shade.

On the foredeck, the seating area in front of the helm station receives all-day sunshine for the Owner and his family to enjoy sweeping forward views while enjoying drinks on the sofa or resting on the double sun pad. The net trampolines are a favourite feature of family catamarans, and there are two massive forward trampolines for sunbathing or exercise.

A pair of 280 HP engines are installed, however, S/Y 7X SPLIT is more than capable of cruising by wind power with excellent responsiveness and efficiency in moderate wind conditions.
