Sunday, the 1st of November, saw mega yacht NORD, previously known as OPUS or Project Redwood, showcasing her name for the first time as her owner and the family arrived with a helicopter and joined the yacht aboard the tender, NORDIC II. The photos taken by yachting photographer and enthusiast, DrDuu show the yacht with her name at the stern.
NORD yacht measures impressive 142 metres (465’88’’) and is currently being built by the German shipyard Lurssen, with striking modern and innovative design by the Italian studio Nuvolari Lenard, who designed both her exterior lines as well as her interiors.
Given her huge volume, she will be able to accommodate up to 36 guests onboard in 20 large suites, all with private ensuite bathroom facilities. Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, beach club, spa, sauna, helipads are only a few of the highlights we can expect to see aboard, once the yacht has been completed.
