Luxury expedition yachts have gained a lot of popularity in the charter market. The 73m superyacht Planet Nine, 77m Legend and 73m Cloudbreak are some of the finest all-goer vessels available in remote destinations, including Patagonia, Antarctica, South Pacific and Northern Europe. Explorer vessels equipped with helipads and additional tenders offer even more exciting adventure to their guests, as they allow visiting secluded beaches, icy cold grounds with penguin colonies and hidden tropical bays.
Not only motor yachts and sailing boats are in favour of charterers in the Mediterranean but also expedition boats 71m Enigma XK, 39m RH3, 53m MIZU and 49m Plan B getting fully booked well in advance. The largest explorer charter yacht REV is currently under construction and will be launched in 2020.
A large number of explorer and expedition yacht concepts has been introduced to the yacht industry: Cantierre delle Marche AURELIA 29, NedXplor 38 superyacht by Omega Architects, DAMEN support vessel Power Play.
