The pale-grey hull and white superstructure give M/Y SOLARIS the appearance of an explorer yacht, and an arch joining the sides of the superstructure overhead is an iconic element of her design. Another noteworthy feature is the use of more than 2,000m²/21,528ft² of glass surfaces across her decks – the biggest panes ever built into a yacht.

Eight MTU engines produce a combined output of more than 14,000 KW for a speed in excess of 18 knots. In addition, the twin ABB Azipod® system with a combined output of 9MW is the largest ever installed aboard a private vessel.

In the last phase before delivery, luxury yacht SOLARIS was floated out of her dock before heading out to the North Sea to complete her sea trials. The last stages of her interior outfitting were completed around the same time, and she is now ready to take her Owner on adventures.
