Launched in 1986 and refitted in 2014, her interiors are by Jon Bannenberg and post refit, Joanne de Guardiola Design, Inc. De Voogt Naval Architects is responsible for her exterior styling. There are 7 cabins, accommodating up to 12 charter guests, including an on-deck master stateroom, and lower deck VIP suite, 2 double cabins, 2 twin suites and a single cabin.
Her interior décor is bespoke, using timeless woods, custom arts and sumptuous furnishings. On the main deck aft is her generous salon, this leads through a foyer and into a large media room, offering the latest in entertainment facilities. From here, there is access to the full beam and forward facing master stateroom, with surrounding panoramic windows. Her upper deck features a complete flip in style, using a palate of bright primary tones, creating a unique and fun social space, with seating, tables and cocktail bar. Encased in glass, it receives excellent natural light and is a real talking point. M/Y HIGHLANDER is a great choice for a yachting vacation, with plenty of outdoor living. An extended swim platform allows charter guests to easily enjoy the myriad of water toys available. Steps up the transom take you to the shaded aft deck, with alfresco dining and a bar. Aft of the upper lounge, there is a great area for sunning. A further top deck has chaise lounger aft, a jacuzzi and seating area with bar placed forward.
