Taiwanese yacht builder Horizon, in its 26 years manufacturing, has grown the company from 30 to 1000 people, from 1 shipyard to 4 shipyards, and from a 24,900 square-foot lamination facility to a 110,000 square-foot one. Horizon has also delivered over 690 yachts to happy and satisfied owners, and it rose Horizon to one of the top 10 luxury yacht builders in the world. These accomplishments are the outcome of the utmost dedication and hard work from not only the company’s partners but also their employees, who have grown alongside Horizon in the past two decades.

Horizon employees on Okinawa trip

Horizon Group CEO John Lu places a high value on our employees and their contributions to Horizon’s success, which is why he hosts a company trip each year to stimulate creativity, growth and closer employee relationships.  This year, Horizon is offering four options for the annual company trip – Taiwan’s Mountain Ali; Sun, Moon Lake; I-Lan; and Okinawa, Japan – and employees are free to choose their preferred destination.

“I am pleased to see the benefits of our company trips in action with the employees,” says Lu.  “They work closer together and encourage and support each other’s endeavors…it becomes more of a family atmosphere, which is what we aim for at Horizon.”
