This highly coveted award is one of a string of accolades given to the Dubai International Boat Show, and comes just six months after it was recognised for ‘Innovation and Excellence in the Leisure Marine Industry’ at the World of Yachts and Boats Awards for Excellence in Beirut, Lebanon.

The 18th Dubai International Boat Show, held in March 2010 saw 15 global launches and 25 regional premieres, highlighting the importance of the show to the global leisure marine industry.  Over 700 companies participated, and the event enabled multi-million dollars in sales, indicating the rising consumer confidence and strength of the Middle East market.

Trixee Loh, Senior Vice President, Exhibitions, Dubai World Trade Centre, organiser of Dubai International Boat Show, said: “It is a great honour to be presented with this award for the third consecutive year by the top global marine industry leaders. This recognition serves as a testament to the growing strength of Dubai International Boat Show, which is now firmly placed on the calendar of the world’s best boat shows, and demonstrates continued year-on-year growth in both visitors and global exhibitors covering the entire marine industry range. Dubai International Boat Show 2011 promises to provide even greater industry participation and investment, strengthening the leisure marine market throughout the region.”

The 19th edition of Dubai International Boat Show 2011 will take place from 1 – 5 March and will see continued growth from last year’s show. The event will include groundbreaking new features and vertical sectors of the show, focussing very much more on the luxury lifestyle elements this region is synonymous for. From an exclusive hospitality and entertainment programme of events including live music, VIP receptions and luxurious lounges, to a line up of the world’s most exclusive luxury brands from watches, supercars, superyachts, jewellery and clothing, our aim of 2011 is to be far more than a boat show, more a luxury lifestyle event that will draw in people from all walks of life – not just those looking to purchase their next boat.

In addition to world premieres and global launches, Dubai International Boat Show 2011 will showcase the latest boats and leisure marine products and services from more than 700 companies, including international exhibitors and brands such as ART Marine, Azimut, Benetti, Danish Yachts, AMELS B.V., Officine Panerai, Mourjan Marinas, Burger Boat Company, Princess Yachts, Raymarine, Gulf Craft, Majesty Yachts, Al Hareb Marine, AMIT, Cummins, Volvo Penta, Fincantieri, Al Masaood Marine, Al Yousef (Yamaha), Trinity Yachts, Westport, Oceanco, Heesen Yachts, San Lorenzo, Al Dhaen Craft, Sessa Marine, Luxury Sea Boats, Macky Marine, Delma Marine, Ecoseas, Al Shaali Marine, IMG Boats, Sunseeker, Greenline Yacht Interiors, Pino Meroni, Gulf Development Systems, Garmin, UBIFrance, Yanmar, ICE, Australian International Marine Export Group and more.
