The Dubai International Boat Show 2018 will take place at the Dubai Canal, allowing for additional exhibitor opportunities and even greater variety for visitors to the event. The move comes as construction work on Dubai Harbour continues and once finished, it will contain a marina able to berth 1,400 yachts.

Opened in 2016, the Dubai Canal covers 3.2 kilometres and passes Old Dubai, Business Bay and residential areas such as Downtown Dubai before flowing into the Arabian Gulf. As a result, the event is expected to draw local and international visitors, who will have plenty of parking and transportation to other nearby attractions such as the Burj Khalifa or Dubai Mall.

Returning visitors have two new areas to look forward to in 2018: ‘Future of Yachting’ and ‘Luxury Boulevard’, the former of which will place a spotlight on new materials, technologies and emerging designers whereas the latter will feature some of the biggest brands associated with the yachting lifestyle.
