Following a three-year development, the Diversified Yacht Services (DYS) has opened a new yacht repair as well as refit service centre in Florida. Investing $25m, the company is now expected to cater for superyachts.

Thanks to a 150t travel lift, the centre, which will also be hurricane-resistant, can haul out for repair and refit yachts measuring up to 37m (120ft).

New DYS facility also boasts its own marina, featuring berths for leasing and for working on yachts afloat. It accommodates yachts measuring up to 26m (85ft).

DYS is also offering jobs locally. Twenty positions have been filled and this is presumed to double as business comes in.
