Construction update on HEESEN’S 50m PROJECT TRITON

Heesen shipyard has announced that the hull and the superstructure of the YN 18850 motor yacht Project Triton have been joined with the construction progressing well at the Oss facility in the Netherlands. Project Triton represents the second yacht in the new 50m Steel Class series by the Dutch builder, boasting exteriors by Clifford Denn and interior design by Reymond Langton.

Weighing below 500GT, once delivered will have a range of 3,800 nautical miles at a cruising range of 12 knots, while fitted with two MTU 8V4000 M63 Diesel engines of 1000KW each. She is expected to reach a maximum speed of 15 knots. A true bluewater vessel, she offers smooth and comfortable cruising thanks to her full displacement bilge hull and bulbous bow. The superyacht is undergoing an outfitting phase at the moment and is expected to be delivered on 28th February 2020.
