Megayacht JUBILEE, currently the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands, will be undergoing an extensive one-year refit at Lurssen shipyard. Built by Oceanco and designed by Lobanov design, JUBILEE is one of the most famous superyachts, thanks to her head-turning exterior look. Her naval architecture was produced by Azure Naval Architects, and the interiors are created by Sam Sorgiovanni

She measures 110 metres and can accommodate 30 guests in 15 cabins, which include four VIP cabins on the bridge deck, ten cabins on the main deck and a dedicated owner’s deck. A swimming pool is located in the centre on the main deck aft, and the flush foredeck hosts a large helipad which can also be used as a sunbathing area and lounge. A Jacuzzi is placed on the sundeck forward to take in panoramic views.

Two powerful MTU diesel engines give M/Y JUBILEE a top speed of 18.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots with a transatlantic range of 5,000 nautical miles.

JUBILEE was sold to a new owner in December 2018, and the asking price had been withheld.

Lurssen chief executive Peter Lurssen mentioned that refit work is now one of the main segments of the business with fantastic facilities with capacity for several yachts undergoing refits at the same time.
