The American Superyacht Forum 2012, May 21-23

The American Superyacht Forum 2012, May 21-23

America is still home of the Superyacht market’s biggest client base, with more potential and understanding of what ownership is all about, therefore there is very important the need to rethink how to educate, engage and improve the business potential. It is not about Capitalism, but capitalising on this land of opportunity, therefore as part of the 2012 programme, the ASF will be analysing and exploring better ways of building the US Industry.

Specific focus will form part of the programme, like are we creating the right yachts for the market, are we introducing the most effective and efficient technology, are our business practises and profitability at the right levels and do the authorities and governments understand the implications and value of re-building our industry.

The American Superyacht Forum is confident that following on from last year’s incredible discussions and action plans, they can continue the momentum and everyone that participates in May this year will witness and be a part of this dynamic change.

America was once recognised as one of the most important yacht building nations, but over the past decade, has subsequently dropped down the league table, with so many companies and jobs at stake, now is the time to rebuild and stabilise for the long term.

The American Superyacht Forum 2012 promises to deliver, but they can only do that if everybody participates and makes his own unique contribution. The ASF is confident that people will see huge benefit from being part of the event and they will be bringing some dynamic new changes.
