Morning Glory was originally commissioned and owned by the media mogul, Rupert Murdoch. Perini Navi was the naval architect firm involved in the formal vessel plans for MORNING GLORY. Also the company Perini Navi expertly collaborated on this project. Interior designer Perini Navi was selected for the internal interior ambience. In 1993 she was actually launched to accolade in Viareggio and following sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards delivered to the yacht owner. Perini Navi completed their new build sailing yacht in Italy. Her core hull was constructed with steel. The sailing yacht superstructure component is fabricated largely with aluminium.
