40M MODERN SUPERYACHT

Built in 2016 by Columbus Yachts of the Palumbo Group and refitted in 2020, this 40M MODERN SUPERYACHT was designed by naval architects Hydro Tec and features the interior styling of Italian design studio Hot Lab. The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 11 guests over 5 well-appointed cabins.

EXTERIOR

The main deck aft is a private environment, making use of high gunwales to conceal guests resting on the plush sofa or chaise-loungers placed around a central coffee table. Two stairways lead down to the swim platform, where the transom door folds out to make an extension of the beach club.

The main deck aft also has a starboard stairway joining to the upper deck aft. Here, a sofa is placed to port with a wet bar opposite,
partially shaded by the overhang, while the sun-drenched aft section provides a table for alfresco dining in a small group, and a row of sun loungers along the stern. A canvas shade can cover this section for all-day outdoor use.

The foredeck has a large Jacuzzi, plus a broad sunbed that can be converted into a C-shaped sofa and table for casual alfresco dining while taking in uninterrupted views.

INTERIOR

On the lower deck, the crew accommodation and mess are forward, followed by the guest accommodation accessed via a separate stairway for greater privacy. The engine room is aft of amidships, followed by the tender garage and water toys storage with a beach club in the stern providing a wet bar and day head.

The Master suite is forward on the main deck with the main foyer and galley amidships, plus a day head to starboard. The aft section hosts the main salon, where a forward-facing sofa, coffee table and sofas along the port and starboard walls make a social area focusing on the wall-mounted widescreen TV. Behind, the formal dining area will seat all 10 guests and glass sliding doors to port and starboard lead out to fold-down side terraces for a more alfresco dining experience.

The upper deck has the helm station forward with the foyer behind followed by the skylounge. Within, the tranquil environment places a sofa beneath the windows on both sides of the room, a coffee table in the centre and a widescreen TV on the forward wall.

A pair of MTU 12V 2000 M94 engines produce a maximum speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots. Using electric propulsion at 15 knots she has a range of 2,800 nautical miles, at 12 knots 3,500 nautical miles and at 7.5 knots 9,000 nautical miles.
