ALITHIA

Luxury sailing yacht ALITHIA from Solaris Yachts is the first hull in the Solaris 80 RS model and was delivered in 2020. She is a contemporary 24m/78.7ft blue water cruiser designed for ease of use by a minimal crew. The exterior styling is the work of Javier Soto Acebal with naval architecture by Solaris Design Team and interiors also by the shipyard in collaboration with Architect L. Micheletti. The accommodation sleeps a total of eight guests in four well-appointed cabins.

EXTERIOR

Above deck, the cockpit provides a C-shaped sofa and drinks table on both sides, with the helm controls to port and starboard and space to move freely along the stern.

The foredeck has an abundance of space for sunbathing and exercise such as yoga, and with its uninterrupted views it is a great place for whale watching and observing the surroundings.

INTERIOR

The interior layout for the Solaris 80 RS model comes in one of two varieties: One where the Master suite is placed aft with the crew accommodation in the bow; or alternatively where the Master suite is in the bow section and the crew cabin is aft. In both layouts, the rest of the amidships salon is unchanged, as is the tender garage placed in the stern.

This latter area can be cleared and used as a beach club with a fold-down swim platform.

The salon places a large dining table to port surrounded on three sides by plush sofa seating, while to starboard the deep sofa seating is the perfect place to rest in the light and airy environment. Wrap-around windows and skylights let the sunlight stream in from above, and additional windows provide guests with views while seated.

The 180 HP engine provides power in windless conditions. Also of note is the lifting keel – an optional addition of the model which reduces the draft from 4m/13ft to 3.5m/11ft for cruising in shallow waters.
