Seaview, one of the world’s market leaders in mounting solutions for marine electronics, cameras and satdomes, will be launching its new modular tops to the UK marine leisure market through UK distributor Interform Marine, at this year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show. The unique modular tops have been designed to provide a common mount top to a variety of Seaview’s most popular mounting solutions, which is compatible with a range of adapter plates that are suitable for installing any radar, satellite dome, camera or searchlight onto the one chosen mounting solution.
The new Seaview modular tops make upgrading much easier and more cost-effective, as the original mount, and often the cabling, remains in place allowing boat owners to replace just the adapter plate rather than an entire mount. The system is also a major advantage for stockists, who now only need to maintain a small stock of the modular top mounting solutions, along with a variety of adapter plates in order to provide immediate delivery of a mount compatible with any electronic product available in today’s market.
Through its partnership with Seaview and its own MarinePod range, Interform Marine is uniquely positioned to offer the UK marine industry with complete solutions for the installation of all marine electronics, anywhere on the vessel, with the added advantage of being able to rapidly respond to the ever changing market. These solutions ensure that the maximum performance is obtained from the electronics equipment, due to the meticulous manufacturing techniques undertaken, resulting in products with unmatched strength and durability, all in an elegant design which enhances the vessel’s aesthetics.
Phil Turnham, Technical Director at Interform Marine, commented: “There is an increasing demand within the leisure sector for the robust structures and reliability for which Seaview is legendry, but customers also need flexibility to upgrade and improve cost-effectively. The new range of modular tops is a major step forward in this flexibility, speed of delivery and cost, without any loss of quality or reliability.”Share this:
