The 45 metre super yacht Africa is the first of the Sunrise 45 series, stunningly designed by the renowned italian architect Paolo Scanu launched in 2009. She has been proudly built by the Turkish shipyard Sunrise Yachting and their international team of experts. Motor Yacht AFRICA is a true ocean going vessel, constructed with passion and dedication. Her concept is of a long-range displacement yacht and she offers accommodation for up to eleven charter guests in supreme comfort, whether across the vast ocean, along the French Riviera or Island hopping in the Caribbean.

Her interior styling is by a French designer Franck Darnet. He combined the natural, exotic feel of tropical makoré wood, ostrich leather, South African nguni ox pelt and zebra skins with the sophistication of bright marbles and stainless steel to create a stunning decor, at once stylish and intimate.

Sunrise yacht Africa has a high-tensile steel hull and aluminium superstructure. She is built to comply with the highest safety and regulatory standards in the yachting industry: Lloyd’s Register of Shipping classification and Maritime and Coastguard Agency LY2 code. Engineering has been performed with utmost reliability as its primary objective and no efforts were spared, such as high-density insulation throughout the yacht, to ensure the quietest environment for her charter guests.

The African-themed Harley Davidson motorcycle was custom-designed for the yacht, along with an elaborate launch and recovery system.

The new Sunrise 45 m motor yacht Sunrise Y will be exhibited at the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show as well as at the 2010 Cannes International Boat Show. The new Sunrise Y yacht is from the same Sunrise 45 series as Africa.
