Following her recent nomination for the 2013 World Superyacht Awards, the Wally 164 luxury yacht Better Place by Tripp Design has been shortlisted to participate in the upcoming ShowBoats Design Awards.

The final day 5 of the Antigua Sailing Week 2012 revealed its winners, with Geoff Hill’s Santa Cruz 72 sailing yacht Antipodes winning in CSA 1A. Peter Harrison’s Farr 115 charter yacht Sojana took the third place.

April 28 brought very difficult weather conditions for sailors competing in the 2012 Yachting World Round Antigua Race. Due to strong winds, there were several retirements, including Allyn Salomon’s Beneteau Oceanis 473 sailing yacht Hermosita as well as South African Jan Rupert entry, Tripp 75 Blackbird yacht. Farr 115 charter yacht Sojana has received the Yachting World Trophy for the fastest monohull around the course, finishing the race in 4 hours, 50 mins and 46 seconds.
