One of the new exciting yachts to be launched in 2010 is the Admiral 73 motor yacht built by A.M.Y., a collaboration between Cantieri Navali Lavagna – Admiral Yachts and Mariotti Yachts as well as in collaboration with the Luca Dini Design Studio.
Admiral 73 motoryacht is truly an astonishing yacht with more that 13 metres in width. She spreads over five bridges and her external lines give her a slender and slick look, thanks to an accurate study of proportions and a tailored attention given to her height. Built in collaboration between Cantieri Navali Lavagna (Admiral Yachts) and Mariotti Yachts, as well as the Luca Dini Design Studio.

Accurate studies and attention dedicated to the guests’ comfort provide the vessel with reduced noise as well as reduction of vibes. The hull’s width and the additional deck give a large range of options for the arrangement of space. Admiral 73 motor yacht provides accommodation for 10 guests plus the owners and a crew of 21 as well as the captain.
Propulsion of the Admiral 73 yacht is granted by an Azipod system of two diesel generators Caterpillar 32 feeding the electric propulsion of two Shottel Azipods. This system guaranties a motionless position position without anchorage, this way allowing very precise maneuvers within small ranges without noise. Thanks to Azipods, company’s attention to the latest technologies is once more confirmed, and in addition showing no lack of respect to the environment. The International Certification of Ecological Compatibility, characteristic of the entire Admiral line, assures compliance with the strictest regulations in terms of environmental protection while in no way compromising on the freedom of navigation.
With its steel hull and aluminium superstructure and thanks to the four Caterpillar C 32 engines Admiral 73 reaches the maximum speed of 15 knots and can cruise at the speed of 12 knots, with a range of 5000 miles at cruising speed.
