Luuk V. van Zanten and the Curvelle Istanbul team are proud to announce that they have received the coveted Neptune Trophy during the 2014 World Superyacht Awards gala evening, recognizing charter yacht ‘quaranta’ among the best new build superyachts handed over in 2013.

The ninth annual Oscars of the superyacht world gala event was celebrated in the beautiful Amsterdam Maritime Museum, Het Scheepvaartmuseum, attended by an elite group of superyacht owners from around the globe and the most influential players in the superyacht industry.

The Neptune judges, an independent panel of 20 yacht owners and two industry leaders were impressed by motor yacht quaranta overall, and in particular with the construction quality, styling – the best power catamaran ever, the tremendous flexibility, and the practical uses of design aspects. The judges also pointed out that quaranta has one of the best charter layouts they have ever seen and offers excellent value.

Luuk expressed his deep satisfaction, after quaranta receiving Yacht International’s Most Innovative Yacht award in Cannes and the Composite industry award for Best Composite Yacht Construction in Istanbul last year, that she is now recognized among the best superyachts launched in 2013 compared with the other monohulls in her range. This year the quaranta yacht was also a winner of the Reddot design award in Germany and of the Golden Award by A DESIGN, Italy.

Luxury yacht quaranta is available for sale and luxury yacht charter. This summer, she will be cruising the beautiful Eastern Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Turkey.
