Launched just a few weeks ago 80m/262ft motor yacht EXCELLENCE has had her first sea trial on the River Weser and the North Sea in Germany.

It’s been said that EXCELLENCE was tested at her cruising speed of 14.40 knots on the River Weser, despite the fact that most yachts cruise only at the speed of 10 knots in that region.

She was designed inside and out by Winch Design, who created a striking futuristic profile with an abundance of glazing. On board, she features a swimming pool, enormous beach club, Jacuzzi tub and spacious living areas. To date, the information about the interior has not been released.

EXCELLENCE is now back at the Abeking and Rasmussen’s facilities for the final outfitting before delivery this summer.

Meanwhile, it is still uncertain whether EXCELLENCE would become available for charter, there is a selection of luxury charter yachts built by Abeking and Rasmussen.
