Ocean Alexander has announced their latest collaboration with British designer Evan K. Marshall – the Ocean Alexander 90r. Currently, under construction at the shipyard in Taiwan, the tri-deck superyacht will have large glass sections in the hull for impressive illumination and views in the lower deck guest accommodation.
The lower deck aft also features a beach club with glass sliding doors, creating the ideal place to begin the morning close to the guest cabins and the ambient surroundings.
The sheltered main deck aft comes with an outdoor bar for drinks while lounging outdoors, while inside the main salon has classic colours and styling that has been updated with 21st Century trends. Glass sliding doors beside the formal dining area to seat six allow for a natural air flow, plenty of light and an excellent connection to the sights and sounds of the location. In the aft lounge area, the TV is concealed in the ceiling when not in use.
Forward of the main foyer is the Master suite, which has its own private lounge and desk within the same area, plus an en-suite bathroom.
Above, the open-plan layout combines the helm station and the sky lounge so that guests can also experience the action and enjoy panoramic views from all four directions. A large bar sits opposite a casual lounge area, and the whole room opens up to the bridge deck aft to make one large indoor-outdoor entertainment space.
Two L-shaped sofas line the sides and stern, and each have a low table for resting drinks from the alfresco bar. On the foredeck, there is a C-shaped sofa with a raised table ideal for alfresco dining or resting outside with books and electronic devices, and further forward a large plush sunpad creates a sunbathing area with uninterrupted views.
The Ocean Alexander 90r is expected to make her debut in November 2018.
