The 75 FB is the latest in Vicem’s series of Classic, Flybridge and Cruiser motor yachts ranging from 50 to 100 feet: the Vintage Line. This yacht, with her classic look of timeless design, a living example of Vicem’s ideals for unmatched craftsmanship and their commitment to total customization and the cold molded method of construction, is the ultimate challenge for the yard and its 15 member in-house yacht design team.

The new 75 Flying Bridge motor yacht is the ideal yacht for those looking for a new, sensational way of living at sea. Her main features are outstanding seaworthiness, with long range cruising and great handling as first priority in the design approach. In giving birth to this yacht, the Vicem design team has focused on creating a very comfortable “family cruising yacht”.

The flying-bridge area of the 75 FB motor yacht offers all the amenities for lovers of outdoor life. It has a sun deck, a large U-Settee table for six with storage under the seats, a wet-bar with refrigerator and additional storage lockers. The flying bridge is also provided with a very useful helm station, fully equipped with electronics, helm panel, indicators and controls. A bimini top in exterior fabric, with stainless steel supports and high end audio system with 4 speakers, completes the flying bridge.

Vicem Yachts new 75 Flybridge’s main deck exterior has a sun pad at the bow and another L-shaped mahogany table for six with storage under the seats. A swimming platform, in laminated teak with stainless steel fittings, adds two more areas for life on board or a berth for a launch. Details such as varnished mahogany boat-hooks and chromed hardware emphasize the legendary timeless elegance of Vicem’s Vintage yacht line.

Inside, space and light make the 75 FB motor yacht an airy place where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings even in the hottest hours. The fabrics and materials chosen for decorating the interiors confirm all the tradition and experience that Vicem puts into its yachts. The feeling is that of a luxurious ambience with a special nautical flavor. This yacht has three cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms: one master and one VIP cabin, all with king size beds; one guest cabin, and last but not least, a bow crew cabin.

The spacious salon, a separate dining area, a pleasing optional king-sized bed guest cabin and an aft area can host up to twelve guests and two crew members. The helm station with a double seat has full access to all the controls: autopilot, exterior lighting, running lights, VHF radio, radar, GPS, plotter. The salon for total relax on board is enriched by the home theater system with a 26” LCD flat screen television.

The idea was that of developing a more European looking yacht. For the interiors Vicem has chosen light mahogany and wengé in order to achieve a “glistening” yacht. Laid iroko flooring with a satin finish covers the main deck. The very large master cabin offers all the comfort you need on board with an island king berth and an LCD screen (as in all the other cabins).

A wide-body saloon of Vicem Yachts new 75 Flybridge yacht welcomes you inside; two lounge chairs with an ottoman and two large sofas can host up to eight guests who can enjoy the home entertainment system and its 32″ LED TV. The wheel-house is equipped with all the latest technology on the market. Autopilot, GPS and radar come as standard. The lower deck galley is provided with all possible appliances for a prestigious yacht: a cook-top with four burners, microwave, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and ice maker.

Performance for this 24 meter 75 FB motor yacht is not be underestimated. Her planing hull is built of cold-molded wood and epoxy, with a strip and cross planked mahogany hull skin: the new 75 FB has twin 1,550 HP Electronic MAN Common Rail engines that push the yacht up to a top speed of 30 knots, with a cruising speed of 24 knots. With Its’ long range cruiser character, the 75 FB enables guests to travel for 870 nm at 11,5 knots, with over 6,602 lt. of fuel and 1,302 lt. of water.

The cold-molded method

The Vicem Vintage Line (Classic and Fly Bridge models, from 52’ to 75’; the Cruiser 78′ and 92′) is built using the cold-molded process. A millenary, unique construction technique which embodies all the construction methods of the Turkish historical marine tradition; a modern procedure different from traditional boat building. Based on engineered wood construction, cold-molding uses laminated mahogany (coming from managed forests) and a specific formulated epoxy resin to create the hull, decks and principal superstructures. This results in a stronger and quieter vessel with a smoother ride, with natural insulation from humidity and noise.

About Vicem, Turkey

The Yachts for Yachtsmen

Since the company was founded in 1991, Vicem Yachts has been always focusing on three company core values: total customization, impeccable craftsmanship quality and timeless design. Vicem Vintage Line (Classic and Fly Bridge models, from 52’ to 75’; the Cruiser 78′ and 92′) is built using the cold-molded process. In 2009, Vicem Yachts extended its production to the megayacht segment, introducing the new Vision Line with the 46m & 35m Tri-deck and the 32m RPH. All three are currently under construction (delivery June 2011). Vicem Yachts is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey and employs almost 400 staff in three manufacturing facilities – one in Tuzla-Istanbul and two in Antalya  – covering a total productive surface of 550.000 sq ft (50.000 sq mt).
