Hargrave has announced that its HARGRAVE 184 flagship luxury yacht is currently being built in by HSY at its facilities in Antalya, Turkey. The 56-metre superyacht was announced early in 2017 with construction commencing shortly after and is being designed for a four-time repeat American client of the US brand.

HSY Yachts are responsible for the naval architecture and interior appearance of the project, while Unique Yacht Design will be completing her exterior styling. The first HARGRAVE 184 will be built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with a full beam measuring 10.4m/34ft. Diesel engines will provide a maximum speed of 16 knots with a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

The HARGRAVE 184 is not the first time Hargrave has outsourced the construction of one of its yachts, choosing Ned Ship Group in 2010 to build 41.5/136ft motor yacht DREAmer and referring the build of many previous motor yachts to Taiwanese specialists Kha Shing.
